About the Bani Rabia family
The Bani Rabia family are British nationals whose matriarch, Lady Rabia Abdul Hakim, was born in the Cayman Islands, educated in the US and went on to live in the Middle East for many years. The Bani Rabia clan consists of six children: Mohammad, Alia, Maliha, Amaan, Maymuna and Sumayah, who were all raised in Saudi Arabia. There are also two grandchildren.
Best known for her involvement in modelling, martial arts, speaking and publishing, Lady Rabia is also celebrated for the heroic rescue of the six children who were taken, and held, in Jordan by their father after a tumultuous divorce in 2007.
